Give me the title of a story I've never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.

The Room of Requirement: Dumbledore; Snape; Lucius.

D'oh- forgot feedback!

I thought the similarities and differences between the three men- three only children, Albus's adopted brother Aberforth aside- were well explored; the scene where Albus admits that he nearly amde the same choice as Lucius was particularly thought-provoking.

You know what's ironic? It was meant to be an entirely passionless intellectual exercise exploring what would happen when three people with radically different needs walked into the Room of Requirement at the same time - I certainly never mean to write a weepie! All the same, I cried when Lucius went back to his family - and I howled like a baby when Dobby couldn't stop him...

Thank you for your review!

"The Case of the Ironic Tulip"

Sherlock Holmes again, but oh! what a Sherlock Holmes story. What can I say? The new cannabis addiction (I _loved_ the hallucination scene), the violin, the London fog. The other reviewers are small-minded idiots, the sort of people who just aren't true fans. How anyone could say that passionate, sensual necrophilia scene is tasteless bordering on illegal is beyond me.

It's amazing how prudish people can be, isn't it? But what really surprised me (and really shouldn't have) is how many more people flamed me because Holmes married Charlotte in the end than because of the drugs and necrophilia...

There's no accounting for tastes on the Internet.

See, people are just so prejudiced against Het. Oh, they might complain a bit about scenes like the cellar orgy, but really it's just because slashers can't stand True Love like Holmes and Charlotte's!
