A Poll on Defriendings and Disagreements

It's that time of year again. Strong opinions are being voiced. People are making angry posts - and popping up in other people's journals to make angry comments. I don't have a problem with people having different opinions to mine. I mean, what's life if you only mix with people you agree with? How do you learn, grown, gain understanding? I wouldn't tolerate intolerance or hatred of different people groups or beliefs, personal abuse or religious hatred. I don't mind people not sharing my beliefs, or challenging them, but I wouldn't tolerate abuse of my beliefs (or those of others) simply in order to be offensive.
