How do

[community profile] omniocular keep turning out these things? Most of us probably have one brilliant challenge in us, but to keep churning out great challenges month after month... that takes real inspiration.

They have put up another fantastic challenge - this one involves TV and film. I wasn't convinced... until I saw some of the stuff on offer, and now I'm full of ideas. I lack only the time to implement them, but all the same I am sorely tempted by the Antiques Roadshow... (would write a McGonagall/Miss Marple crossover as well, if I had the time to reread an author I don't really like that much, and wasn't fermenting Sherlock Holmes/HP crossover stories instead, but that's another tale).

They're splendid, aren't they>

If only I wasn't still stuck on my last Omniocular story (the cliche one)! Not to mention the Doctor Who/Harry Potter cross over, which I really must get back to some time. I'm glad to see [livejournal.com profile] shaggydogstail picked Doctor Who - I look forward to that.

I'm glad someone's working on Totally Not Badfic challenges - I thought that was a really clever idea, but it didn't seem to produce many stories (the time of year, perhaps?)

Looking forward to seeing yours! Which one is it?

Hmph.

I see you yielded to temptation.

I did - within minutes of making this post... I'm a complete pushover when it comes to things like that.

I swore I wouldn't take anything else on until after the move... so of course I signed up for an omniocular prompt and an anon exchange. *sigh* I fail. Utterly and completely fail. ;)

Well, the rest of us can take comfort from the thought of an HP/Blackadder crossover from you coming our way soon - I'm sure you'll turn out something brilliant!

(and good luck with the move...)

Oh gosh. I hate being tempted by challenges when I have at least three I haven't finished yet from last year. If that raven of yours was eating the computer out of spite, that'd be more like it for me.

Antiques Roadshow yes. McGonagall/Marple crossover, yes. But also yes, Sherlock Holmes/HP, yes yes yes. So whatever you do I will love.

I suppose I should actually go check out the challenge and see what you did pick, hee.

I've got a couple of unused prompts as well, I have to confess... I suppose I'm just an addict!

Even you!? I feel marginally better - I am not in this alone!

*has just scanned list of prompts*
Antiques Roadshow FTW! I can't wait.

Oomph. I just watched a really good Keeping Up Appearances tonight, too. I actually saw Violet.
Arrgh on temptation. You know I'd pit Onslow against Filch.

I hope it works out anyway... Monday has swallowed my creativity, but the basic idea is sound...

I know you'll reach down and get the creative fibers a-flowing.
