Name one character from Harry Potter or Star Trek: Enterprise and I will give you three facts about them from my personal canon.

You're more than welcome to mention characters from other fandoms, but I may not have any personal canon on which to draw (GRRM's work, for example, I leave strictly alone in that sense).

1. The one true love of Petunia's life was Remus Lupin, who she met at a party at her sisters. Lily told her Remus was gay and living with Sirius, and by the time Remus was in any condition to put her straight, she had taken up with Vernon Dursley.

2. She drives a little blue runabout, which she deliberately chose as being to small to accomodate Dudley's bulk in anything like comfort. When he wants to go out in the car he has to take Vernon's volvo.

3. She has run up considerable debts at mah-jong.

I think "My Eyes Are Dim" was the first story I read. It's such a good theory. And I like the thoroughly sensible one about the little blue car - it's similar to my thinking when as a temp I made sure I avoided making tea.

Sorry to keep using this icon, but this was the mood I found myself in after visiting the Wolfstar shipping thread in FA - I set out determined to show that crass assumptions that closeness automatically equals sex can be highly damaging and Wolfstar ruins lives... So I'm glad it made an impression!

As to the temping-tea thing, I was told by several people when I was at university that I should never learn to type or I would end up a secretary all my life.
