Three thoughts, in no particular order

1. Following a recent remark by a_t_rain , I had another idea for a fic last night. One that features Grawp, Colin Creevey and Luna. Would anyone read such a thing? Or would I have to add Cho Chang and Hagrid in order to make it completely unpublishable?

2. This morning as I opened my window, a bottle-green car drove past, its roof covered in pink blossom from driving under flowering cherry trees. For some reason I am inordinately pleased with this fact.

3. For a long time since moving to Scotland, a part of me thought it was just a beautiful dream. Still does, in a way. But now I'm convinced. You know you're living in Scotland when a kilt and bagpipe shop opens across the street from you!

Grawp, Colin and Luna... yes, I'd read it! For sheer originality if nothing else. I'm not terribley keen on Grawp as he's written in OotP, but I think he's quite redeemable. I for one am always glad to see fics that are a bit different and feature more neglected characters/ character groupings. Go for it!

I think you have to do something very wicked before you can start being redeemed.

Grawp, on the other hand, is merely chronically Misunderstood. Literally.

Anyway, thanks for the encouragement. I may give this one a go, once I've sorted out the House of Flying Artichokes.
