When Good Books Attack...
Nov. 7th, 2006 06:27 pmOh dear. I thought I could handle it.
I knew I was busy, I knew I didn't have time to read, or tons of money to throw about... and then I saw the sci-fi/fantasy in Borders on Sunday - and came out with 4 books I most definitely don't have time to read.
And then yesterday I passed a second-hand bookstall in the University. To be strictly fair about this, I did manage to avoid buying a complete set of Trollope's Palliser series in rather fetching hardback - but I still managed to walk away with a total of seven volumes.
This always happens when I feel tired and a bit ground down by life.
My name is Ett, and I am a bookaholic.
I don't even have any proper bookshelves up yet, dammit!
Any suggestions on how to control my habit? Or failing that, bought any good books lately?
