A meme, from [livejournal.com profile] tree_and_leaf .

Reply to this post, and I will tell you which of your icons I like the best. If you had fun, pass it on in your own journal.

And to make this post look more like a proper post, here's a link to the story of a little boy who found a very big cat in his back garden...

*sighs in disappointment*

Icons! Of your icons, your happy carrot ones always make me smile, and because you're the only person I know who has them I know at the glance that it's you. I also really like the one you have as default now. It's very pretty!

I couldn't rule anything out after some of your recent posts of Things Seen Out Of Windows - all those reptiles and giant spiders...

Just been to have a look at your icons, and I've decided after much thought that I actually like your winking giraffe one best. Was interested to see all the new Boy Band icons, some of which are very pretty - but out of those, I think the nerdy thumbs-up one is probably the one I like best.

So glad you like the carrots! They cheer me up, twirling or stationary, but I wasn't sure if the magic worked for anyone else.

The carrots are brilliant, albeit in a slightly perturbing way.

It's an oddly charming song and cartoon that they're taken from, if you overlook the bit when they cry...

I no more believe the zookeeper that the cheetah was "completely tame" and would thus never, ever attack a four year old, than I would believe it from the mouth of the owner of a pit bull terrier. Great story, though! And well done Tony for being quick-thinking.

Ah, the "he's just a big softy, really" syndrome, as some mud-footed hellhound chews your clothes and slavers all over you... Interesting to see zookeepers get it too!

Also, if the creature thought the bike reminded him of his toys, it doesn't say much for its judgement. Young Tony was defintely safer indoors.

I like your Rabbit Dies icon because I always mentally add "and you can't sell the 'utch" in a grumpy voice when I see it. I'm also fond of your Xenopus Lives icon because that always comes with good news.

A tough one, this - I love your default icon, and I really like the Last of the Time Lords Grin one because it makes me smile, not to mention the Degree in Applied Bollocks icon... but I think in the end the Terms Used in Academia just qualifies as my favourite. It's brilliant!

Really difficult, this - I love the cat one above, the two Wrapped Up in Books icon, the Tower of London raven, the Jan Pienkowski... but I think my favourite is either the Japanese owl with fluffy chest-feathers, or the wonderfully creative icon you made from my paper-cut! I spent ages trying to decide which was my favourite of those two, and in the end I just gave up. They're both great.

The one that amuses me the most is definitely the "feeling like you're getting nowhere" icon. But I love the fact that you have both a Sherlock Holmes icon and a Susan Pevensie icon too!
