Last time a new Harry Potter book came out, it was sad to see really first-rate stories being written off because they were no longer canon-compliant. Now I'm all for respect for canon, but I think a really good story will always have a life of its own, and no-one can really blame the writers of such things for not being telepathic enough to second-guess JKR.

I would like to make the aquaintance of a few such stories this time round.

I'm looking for good, deserving fics which you think are about to be swept away by canon, and which could do with a few more readers before the axe falls.

Self-plugs particularly encouraged - I feel no shame about wanting to visit my friends' work first!

Ironically, I'm about to become rather busy as my departure from China approaches - but I'll do my best to visit and review any recommendations as soon as I can - even if the reveiw ends up appearing quite a while after the new book comes out.
