This just in: Goth banned from busses for walking his fiancee on a chain.

Would add something witty if I thought the notion could be improved in any way. But I really don't think it could.

*boggles*

How could he lose the keys while handcuffed to the bed? That only gives you a very limited area in which to search, surely?

I suppose if it fell somewhere hard to reach you might twist your wrist trying to pick it up (and then have to call for help? How embarassing).

Wasn't there an episode of Life on Mars where Sam takes a slightly suspicious girl home, and while he's asleep she chains him to the bed and runs away, and then he's found by Gene?

I hope there's an episode like that, because if not, it probably reveals too much about my subconscious....

Tempting though it is to leave you to stew, you are quite right: Sam was defying a gangster and he set one of his young women on him.

Thank you - I didn't think my imagination was quite that lurid, but you never know, especially after you've been hanging round LJ for a bit...

What a lovely snap...

... of the young Sev and Bella, before she left him for Lestrange.

Young Robin once misplaced the keys to the handcuffs that he had me in at the time (for obvious purposes). That was an interesting quarter-hour before he found them. I don't think he was quite sure it was wise to release me by that point, although, obviously, he did do.

Sev and Bella? Far too aimiable-looking! Tonks and Lupin, more like...

That must have been an interesting moment - I'm glad you escaped in the end.

Good to see you up and about again, too!

Actually, from the appearance, I'd have said Snape and Tonks†, and there's an improbable ship, if you like.

I can quite believe that dear Bella is somewhat interested in chains, but I somehow think she'd be on the other end of the lead....

† Well, apart from the fact that Tonks is more punk than goth.

Weird, I agree, although that 'we're only thinking of passenger safety' stuff from the spokesman was the kind of so totally transparent bullshit that it makes you wonder why they bother. (To give them legal cover, prsumably.)

It's just very, very odd, isn't it? Presumably the whole thing started because this couple are so freaky - and yet so soft-spoken and unthreatening...

*giggles* It's something they're going to need to sort out before they fly away on their honeymoon.

I'd never even thought of that... oh dear. Not to mention the metal detectors they'll be setting off in the airport...

I come back after what seems to be a week's lapse and this is what I find.

"Passenger safety." Oh my! People might start MIMICKING!

Right now there's a show about werewolves. Where I live. Near my city. Probably IN my city. A girl I KNOW is going to be on this show in a couple minutes being interviewed. I feel like hiding in a hole for the duration.

BTW she's a goth girl. Hehehehe.

Werewolves in your city? Seriously? Goth werewolves?

I think your city is cooler than my city!

Good to see you back, by the way...

Werewolves would probably have to join the goth legions just so they can survive; but I shouldn't tease.

Eh, my city is a city. Better when I was younger; now most of the really cool restaurants and stores and theatres are gone, in the name of parking-structure and condo progress.
But yeah...I guess I do like it. I don't live downtown though, thank god.
