Strange Archers-HP Plot Bunny

dolorous_ettI was reading back over recent synopses of The Archers when it hit me.
Could the Snake of Ambridge be Nagini? It would fit in very nicely as part of my Terror That Walks In Darkness Dark!Archers cycle. This is good news because my TTTWIDiverse has been a bit unsteady on its foundations just recently, now that it seems possible that the twins may not be the real threat at all, given that Alice is joining the RAF in order to get her hands on nuclear weapons and bring about the Apocalypse.
Well? Could this one fly, or do I just need to get out more?
