In which I get Nominated for an Award!
OMG Sherlock Holmes and the Ravenclaw Codex has been nominated for a Quibbler Award!
I know I'm not going to win, because I have very few readers, keep my head down and don't ship - but all the same... I've never been up for an award, and it's really exciting. I came over quite Gwynneth Paltrow for a few moments back there.
In the meantime, in case you think fame is going to my head, here's a link about a brave householder who thwarted a burglar, dressed as the Norse god Thor.

I saw the Thor story - brilliant (esp. the bit about him making the armour out of tinfoil).

Anyone can vote - though apparently voting doesn't open until the 10th. I can - hem hem - mention this fact on my journal again when voting's actually open, if you like. And if it's cricket to go around canvassing votes - I'm not sure what the rules are.
I love the idea of tinfoil armour too - can you imagine how much time that took?

In case you have not seen it: cute snowy owl story.

I'd love to win, but a lot of the nominations are much higher profile, and more readers naturally means that more people will think it's their favourite... I'm proud enough to just have been nominated.
