I'm glad you thought that paragraph was Watson-like, because Watson is terribly important, even though Holmes gets all the good roles.
AND OH MY GOD. BLACK. And yet I still suspect foul play - dare he be innocent of this crime, at least? - even though he's an uncompromising old bat.
I just love capslocks reactions to this revelation - and the different spins people put on it. Though again, I cannot possibly comment: it is a great mistake to theorise ahead of one's data!
